The guy never said the kids would have pychological damage- it was the interviewer that made that statement and not the interviewee.

I agree with the PP that said that in that situation where a kid does get uncontrolable that the apologies should be flying left and right. I used to travel for business way more than I cared to and it is amazing how sympathetic fellow travelers can be when it is obvious that a parent is actually trying to do something about an unruly kid versus the parents that just accept the bad behavior and chaulk it up to a kid being a kid.
