Honestly, I would be more happy to see elective inductions banned before 41 weeks. Obviously medical complications can occur so I also advocate that late term testing also be the norm at 40 weeks. I honestly don't understand why an ultrasound at 39-40 weeks isn't more common. It could tell a doctor so much about what to expect at delivery.
