It does seem drastic from the outside looking in, I know. But in my Dr.'s eyes, my eyes, and my parents' eyes; who have watched me suffer for so long with multiple problems having to do with my reproductive organs, it makes complete sense. The multitude of problems, each with their own pain, their own treatments, their own meds, their own complications to life; have all added up to a very poor quality of life, as far as we're concerned. I'm basically choosing between being able to have bio children, or being pain and med free. I can adopt, and actually always have wanted to anyway, but I can't be pain free without this surgery. It's the light at the end of the tunnel to us. I am a little scared, but mostly I'm excited for this to be over with, so that I can recover and begin my pain free life!
