The problem is you have to put the wellfare of your child first but keep your hubby onside. I would laugh and make a joke of it recalling how it happened with your first child and what you did so that he gets the information you need him to have without being patronised. Or maybe try writing down a plan for how you want your son looked after while he is there and ask him for help in writing it so that you can discuss things without laying the blame at his door. Good luck, it's going to be a hard one.
