Most women w/ PCOS are insulin resistant to some degree. I would try a lower carb diet, phasing out any refined sugars you eat. (Soda, candy, white bread.) There are diets out there specifically for ladies w/ PCOS that work fantastically w/ met to help you lose weight.

I was diagnosed w/ PCOS in November, and also found out my insurance doesn't cover fertility treatments. So DH and I are doing this all naturally w/ herbs and supplements. I just got my first definite ovulation after over a year of not ovulating at all! I wish you lots of luck and baby dust, and know that we're all here if you need support or advice.
