Is there anything you "regret" about homeschooling?

hmmmm good question. I just started homeschooling last year so really not any regrets other than I was over zealous and pushed too hard for the first part of the year. I hope to make up for it this year and now that I know I can do it, mellow out some.
I hear you there!!
although knowing my boy's personality he would definetly be a bully magnet on the playground, so I guess I wish I could have the socialization that everyone THINKS school gets kids KWIM?
I had to laugh at that - not because I think it's good that your son would be a bully magnet, but because those are the types of things that I think when people ask me about socialization. "Ummm, yeah, getting made fun of because you're not wearing the right clothes, or even being pressured to try drugs or other illicit activities....yeah, that makes for good socialization!"
It's as though grownups get out of school and 15 years down the road, look back on it with rose colored glasses and forget what a he** school can be!!
