First, 8 lb 14 o is not a big baby. That is a perfectly average sized baby. Second, each baby and pregnancy is an individual experience. My first (c-section for breech) was 7 lb 1 oz, my second (successful external version at 37.5 weeks- so he was over 8 pounds when they did the version) was 9 lb 14 oz- VBAC, my third (successful ECV at 37.5 weeks) was 8 lb 10 oz- VBAC.

Then I did a bunch of research, learned about seeing s chiropractor while pregnant and started seeing one at 23 weeks with my 4th pregnancy. She turned on her own at 36.5 weeks! I felt so great during that pregnancy too.

My 6th pregnancy he turned himself too. I don't know when he did it because he was vertex by 34 weeks. He was also a VBAC and weighed 8 lb 4 oz just like my 4th.

Not all second babies are bigger. Here is the breakdown of my mom's babies:
#1 8 lb 5 oz
#2 7 lb 1.5 oz
#3 8lb 8 oz
#4 10 lb 9 oz
#5 8lb 3 oz
#6 9 lb 10 oz
#7 (4 weeks premature) 7 lb 3 oz
