I thought it was possible to lose chunks of your plug (ewwww) throughout the 3rd trimester and as long as there's no blood or contracting or amniotic fluid, we're good...
Did her OB at least check her to see if she was dilated or anything? Since she has a history of preterm labor, I'm shocked he/she wouldn't at least do an inspection down there!
