^^I totally agree about the cereal. I really am really trying to hold off on it until at least six months. As far as the sippy-I tried that at home with breastmilk. Figured it was worth a shot. She actually sipped those few sips better than she did on ant bottle.
Mostly my husband and I have tried with the bottle. I know at this point, she really won't take it from me, but I've been trying. The few times in the past few weeks that I have left her with the sitter, it's been for brief periods-two hours or so. I've left her near feeding time, hoping she will take the bottle, but she doesn't really care. She plays or naps. No big deal to her.
So basically... It hasn't been a full day, all out run with the bottle. I'm sure she will be fine (and we will get into reverse-cycle nursing!) and it'll all work out. I'm just stressing when people say, "she's STILL not taking a bottle!".
