I agree, some newborns need to nurse very frequently, some even constantly at times. My first DD was like that, she would nurse on both sides for 45 min-1 hour and do that a few tomes before taking a break. I knew my milk supply was fine because I would still get engorged between feedings. You are doing great mama and I promise that it won't last for long!
