Sounds like you still have feelings for him which isn't going to get you anywhere. I'm glad you made a call to get it through the courts. Like one of the ladies said if he doesn't pay it can take a LONG time for it to go as far as contempt. Even then he only has to pay whatever percentage is agreed upon in your state/country or a "reasonable amount". Either way it would be something. Good luck.
