How did your weekend go?
DH came with me to babysit with Maddie at my DCP's house but he watched the hockey game and didn't help much, so I tried to host Maddie's first Sleepover and by 10 I had enough and sent Maddie home with Daddy. I spent an hour in the kids bed trying to put him to sleep and sneak out. I finally got him down 5 minutes before his parents came home at 11
It was a disaster.
We had our My Little Pony "Royal Wedding" (Special 1hour episode) on Saturday. Every day the weeek prior we'd do crafts, make decorations, etc we even made a cake Sat morning in preparation for it. She setup all her ponies and got all dressed up and was so into it, it was really cute.
Afterwards we had our 6 year old neighbor over to play for a few hours.
Sunday was rainy all day and we had a PJ day and watched TV, played Wii, made a tent in the playroom so she could play while we watched the Flyers win, and DH watched Mission Impossible Ghost Protocol after she went to bed. I really hope DH starts feeling better, he having a rough time.
