We still have about 1 accident a week, but it's usually pee. We've been super lucky with him pooping. No real issues, and bowel movement issues seem to be super common at this age. Our next door neighbors dealt with a similar issue with their daughter for several weeks. She'd refuse to poop in the toilet and demand a diaper, but only when she needed to poop.
I'll ask them what they did to get over the hump. Could you sort of step back and start taking him to the toilet periodically again? Or maybe offer a reward for pooping in the toilet?
