Heather- How is Georgia, the boys, and DHs job?
Trish- I definitely know what it take to get into art school, I am an art teacher and both DH and I went to art school. DS1 is very skilled in many forms of art drawing (from observation, imagination), photography, and woodworking. He chooses only to do anime outside of class assignments. We have been trying to no avail to get him to work on observational drawings for his portfolio and to do more self-directed work. He is digging his heels in because we are telling he needs to do these things. I just hope he gets his act together by fall. When I say extracurricular I mean volunteering, camps, clubs have all been science. That doesn't exactly say HEY Art is my passion.
