Steph - Yes, they seem easy to learn on. I got my machine at the Exchange out here - It wasn't the cheapest one, but the next one up [and not the most expensive one]. It's a self-walking machine, though I still have to glide the fabric to make sure it all stays puts. My lines aren't perfect - But I am not too worried about that right now. Threading isn't bad at all. It's fairly easy once you get it down. I am having to re-thread often because of newbie mistakes or possibly because the thread tension isn't right [I have to play with it tomorrow], which is a pain, but like I said - Threading isn't too difficult.
I am working on a rag quilt for the girls right now. I got all 4 yards of fabric cut up. . . And now I am cutting the batting and pinning the fabric to the batting. Sewing as I go. It's gonna take a while before it's finished, especially since we move in 2 weeks. I CANNOT WAIT to move!! Though I am not looking forward to the actual moving, unpacking, ect part.. Haha. But then I'll be able to get ready for little miss Adalyn!
