We love the Step Into Reading books too. I didn't get into them until Liam was already at level 2. He's doing very well with the 3's now and I've got my eyes peeled for the 4's, but haven't found them anywhere yet.

Usborne Publishing has an awesome array of non fiction kids books. Liam's two favorite books right now are Your Body, and Trash and Recycling. They also have tons of beginning readers. They've gotten lots of my money.
