I was searching through oatmeal cookie recipes online to see if eating oatmeal every day increases your milk supply. I found a couple of interesting recipes and I tried one out today. They came out soooooooo yummy! Here's the recipe:

Ingredients:
3/4 cup shortening or butter
3/4 cup granulated sugar
3/4 cup packed light brown sugar
2 large eggs
2 tsp vanilla
1 cup all purpose flour
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp ground cinnamon
1/4 tsp salt
2 3/4 cups old fashioned rolled oats
1 cup dried cranberries or craisins
1 cup chopped walnuts
1 cup white chocolate chips

Steps:

Preheat oven to 350.

Beat shortening/butter with white and brown sugars on medium speed until well blended. Beat in eggs and vanilla.

Combine flour, salt, baking soda, and cinnamon in a small bowl. Beat into shortening/butter mixture, combine until smooth.

Stir in oats, craisins, nuts, and chocolate chips.

Spray a cookie sheet with nonstick spray. Drop rounded spoonfuls onto the cookie sheet, placing cookies 2 inches apart. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until light brown. Cool for 2 minutes on cookie sheet, then transfer to a wire rack. This recipe will make 36 cookies.
