I would never have been able to get anything done around the house without my carrier. One kid was no big deal but the 2nd one, I had to have one. For an infant, I like the maya wrap or a baby bjorn. When they are about 4-6 months old, I love my Ergo. I got my Ergo cheap from a girl in a local play group. Keep an eye on Craigslist for good deals. I never buy anything new, especially baby stuff. People get rid of it all the time for super cheap!!
