Hearing these stories make me feel that much more confident! My son's birth in the hospital was very stressful. I was forced to stay on the bed so i had a very hard time dealing with the pain not being able to get up and labor as i pleased. I ended up with an epidural and although pushing was my favorite part it was also extremely intense (not in the good sort) and stressful. I was given a time limit of 2 hours and was told once i was at that mark they would have to use other interventions to help him out. I had all the confidence in the world that i could do it ON MY OWN and i did.. he was born 2 min before my "dead line".

Anyway, this time i'm going to a birthing center, no option of an epidural but i'm really excited and looking forward to letting my body do what it needs to on its own. Hoping my experience is a much more pleasant one this time around!
