My love and I have decided on a name that we both really like, and that would work for both genders.

Originally we wanted to go with something Irish, due to the fact that both of us have a very strong Irish heritage. The name we chose is actually of Latin origin.

The problem? We can't decide on a way to spell it. The name is Silas.

I like the spelling "Silas", while my love prefers "Cylas". I feel like we could probably compromise with something along the lines of "Sylas", but I haven't ran that by him yet.

What are your opinions on each spelling/the name/etc? I'd really love to hear them!
