It seems like so many women in my DDC are being induced or having c-sections because their blood pressure is too high. I don't think there have been too many elective inductions or sections, they mostly all relate to the "dangerous blood pressure." But there are SO many of them. It feels like more than those who are going by natures course.

Are doctors just overly cautious these days, inducing women before they truly qualify as having pre-eclampsia? Or is the induction/section rate going up because more women are being diagnosed with pre-E?
