I contacted MANA to get names for my last HB -

(but I guess now it's on the Mother's Naturally Forum here -
Find a Midwife or Find Midwives - Mothers Naturally
We were living in PA and I was having a hard time finding a good one. There are lots up there, but most are lay midwives who service the Amish, and don't advertise (at least that's the way it was in our rural area). Anyway, I found one once I was pregnant and set up a consultation where we asked a TON on questions (many from here -

). It was a good match.
Feel free to interview more than one to see who you get along with best.
They will consult with you before or during pregnancy, however you prefer. Some people really find peace in having it all figured out prior to getting pregnant. I'm not that on top of things
Oh and yes, Midwives provide prenatal care.
