Some people take out what they plan to use the night before and put it in tuberware to thaw in the fridge or on the counter (storing it before going to bed). Otherwise you can put it in a dish and zap it in the microwave for a few seconds. SOmetimes the microwave can kill nutrients, though. At my daycare we have a crock pot full of hot water that we place the container in to melt the food.
