Thanks, ladies! Yesterday we did get some good news from the orthopedist. He said that there definitely is a fracture in the hip socket, BUT his hip is not displaced, so it will not require surgery. Praise the Lord! He will have to use a walker until it heals and not put any weight on it. That is going to be the tough part. He is constantly trying to get us to help him up b/c he just wants to walk. The problems with his shoulder are also going to complicate his use of a walker and, if it causes too much pain there, he may not be able to use it. It is a precarious situation, but I know that God will see us all through this. We are just completely amazed that he doesn't need surgery. What a complete answer to prayer! And they don't think his shoulder is infected. There is a hematoma (bleeding of the wound on the inside) where he had the surgery that is causing the swelling in his shoulder, arm, and hand, but the incision itself is healing perfectly and the dr. does not believe there is any level of infection at all.

Again, thank you all for your prayers. It really does mean a lot to me.
