Hello mama!

I see no one else replied yet, and while I'm no expert, I thought I'd share my humble $0.02 .

Yes, I'd say the numbness is very normal. I've had two c-sections---my 1st was an emergency one, and the 2nd was part of the OBGYN practices in the state I lived in at the time---getting a VBAC doctor was next to impossible due to the malpractice laws there (I kid you not) but I was a-ok as I loved my doctor, he had a great bedside manner AND my surgeries went smoothly as well as recovery.

My incision areas were numb for quite some time, and then as things began to heal, they got itchy. My son is now 5 and my daughter is 3 and my scars are almost non existent, feel normal again and all is well. COngrats on your new LO!
