I'm having more trouble with it at night than I am in the day and I'm trying to eat more potassium to help.
If your cramps are affecting a large area, I'd try potassium and hydration to see if that helps (think bananas and buckets of water) but if the cramping/tenderness/pain is very localized, or if it is turning red or hot to touch, tell your Dr. right away as it might be a clot.
Hope you feel better soon, that sounds really distracting.
