Yeah, they really need to stop pitching infant seats as being grocery cart compatible. There are WAY too many different designs and variations to possibly say that your seat is safe with all those carts.

It always worried me that the cart would tip over (our carseat is heavy and my baby was BIG). We either put the whole seat in the basket or just used the stroller. When I bought my sleepy wrap I used that a lot. Doing the wrap was cumbersome, though. That's why I decided to make my own sling rings

And an aside, what brand/line infant car seat do you have? My car seat only went to 22lbs (travel system so kinda small) and I forget what height limit. Alex outgrew his by height before weight. We have to do car seat shopping again and I'd like an infant seat that lasted a bit longer.
