I boiled carrots for like 20 mins and then puréed them in a magic bullet with a bit of water, and then froze them into cubes. I freeze leftover jarred food too. Super easy! When they are frozen you just transfer them to a labeled freezer bag.

Side note, I know it's better to steam them, but I don't have a steamer yet.
