Hi I'm Erica. DH and I have been trying to conceive for the past 9 months and I have also been diagnosed with PCOS and was told I wasn't ovulating. My longest cycle has been around 60 days long before I was diagnosed. After being diagnosed I was put on provera, metformin and clomid. The month before I was put on met and clomid I charted my temps every day and they were all over the place. After starting these two meds my temps have become more consistent over time. Last cycle I ovulated (FINALLY) and was happy to see the drop and spike in my temp so I knew before I took the test that I was ovulating and I also ovulated on CD 15. This cycle however my temps were all over the place at the beginning then in the last 5-6 days they became really consistent. 97.7 for the past several days, then a slight drop to 97.6, back to 97.7 for one day and today my temp was 97.9. Out of curiosity more than anything I took and ovulation test and guess what IM OVULATING! I was told by my OB that your shift in temperature did not have to be by much, it could be tenths of a degree and you could be ovulating and this definitely proves it. I'm also on CD 20 today. In my opinion everybody is different, so the same basic rules apply with slight differences for everyone. Good luck and I hope this helps!
