I always forget about the subforums. Probably because I get so distracted. I wish there was a way site wise that we could attract more attention to them, like have a little blinking arrow when there has been a new post in that subforum. I can't really think of any other way to make it more noticeable or popular. I think the reminder on the main board is probably the best way.
But I think the picture contest is a great idea!
