As it says I'm Katie. I'm 26, will be 27 in July. I've been married to DH, Tim, 7 years next week on 8th. We live in a small town in Northern Arizona. I work front office and authorization at an Internal Medicine office. Our sweet baby girl Samantha is 3 1/2 mos old.
I am the baby in my family of only my sister & I. SHe is 6 1/2 years older and has 3 boys. My nephews have always been a huge joy & center of my world for 14 years now. MY family is the most important thing to me. I am lucky enough to have my parents only live 5 minutes away.
DH and I had been together 4 mos when we got engaged and were married 6 mos after that. We bought a house on over an acre of land almost 4 years ago.
We got pregnant with Samantha after only 3 mos of being off BC. Getting to that point though was long road. We got pregnant in 2008 while I was on BC but had a fetal demise at 8 weeks, requiring a D&C. DH had changed his mind 3 or 4 times when our TTC date finally came around, which was making me so angry and upset. So when I started having issues with my BC, even after changing BC twice so I went off it. DH said if it happens it happens. Me on the other hand was actually temping and trying my best to get pregnant.
I had a good pregnancy, once I got out of the first trimester I calmed down and stopped fearing another m/c. At 32 weeks we found that she was IUGR, so I started having NST twice a week and had to see the MFM specialist.
I was induced at 38 weeks 5 days after having contractions 2-10min apart for 3 weeks. After 2 rounds of Cytotec I was 2 cm, I was started on Pitocin at 730am on Dec 10th and at 1005am Samantha was born at 6lbs 4oz, 18in long. It went so fast I didnt even get my epidural.
She is doing so good growing, she is up to 44% and 12lbs 15oz as of today. We are struggling with Acid Reflux and intolerance to BM, so I was only able to nurse for a month.
WE cant wait this summer to take our first family lake trip with our boat, and go to baseball and football game since we are such die hards when it comes to our sports teams.

I think Ive gone on long enough now. Cant wait to read the questions you come up with
