My son is just a few months younger then yours. He turns four this month. He knows his colors, shapes, numbers to twenty, letters and is working on their sounds. He loves graphing, sorting, puzzles, sequences and dinosaurs! He can recognize and spell his name as well as type it, but hasn't mastered R's yet to write his name. Basically all the preschool skills he has down. He's starting to sound out words on his own. We'll see if he picks up reading this summer. His sister did right after turning 4. He seems ready.

I really like unit studies for 4-7 yrs old. There are tons of free resources online. I usually use literature based unit studies. You can use the library or buy tthem. We love books!
