I've read if you want them gone you have to get saline solution injected into them if they won't go away on their own. I won't do this, but I also took away from that if you'd drink more water, it might help stop more from happening. I also found written on a message forum that if you work out your legs they'll slowly fade. Also, causes include pregnancy, crossing your legs for prolonged periods of time and standing for prolonged periods of time. Support hose were reported to help also as well as Vitamin E. I'm no expert though...
