Ditto this. No hospitals down here allow an actual water birth and will drug you against your will if that is what it takes to get you out of the tub and onto the bed.
If you want one just for the labor, be sure they are in every room or you might not get one if other mamas snap the rooms up with the birth tubs first.
FWIW, I had a water birth (in a birth center) and it was the best experience ever. There is no comparison between how gentle and natural that felt compared to giving birth on a bed. Looking forward to doing it again this time.
