Yes, I know it's bad for their spine, which is why I put her in it for a short time and why I threw in there that I mostly use my Ergo because I knew someone would point out that facing out is bad, and so are Baby Bjorns. She does not get over stimulated - she gets mad when I carry her facing in because she can't see. Every baby is different. Maybe some babies get over stimulated, but not all of them.

Kary - yes it can be used facing in but it's not the best carrier to use. An Ergo or a wrap supports the baby better! Our Bjorn was a gift, and I've used it for both my other girls but not until they were older.
