I'll keep this short but sweet.

My midwife clued me in that I can actually use lansinoh before breastfeeding, not just after. For some reason, Isabel does better with this, too (no clamping down) so it's helping the pain on TWO levels!

She is now breastfeeding a few times a day. Just now was the best nursing session I've ever had with her. I can't seem to get her to nurse in the morning or middle of the night, though, so still using expressed milk.

When we do use a bottle, we are now using the Medela calma, and this has been AWESOME. I don't know if it will help her learn to suck right (but I'm hopeful!) but it works just the way it promises to and at the very least, the bottle never leaks, she controls the flow, and she has a lot less gas now!
