I didn't know. That is so sad. In this age we should have all the mental health support we need but there is such a stigma, and mothers are routinely told their 'job's isn't that hard, they shouldn't complain, they are being dramatic/ hormonal/ over reacting, it will go away, they are bad mothers, there's nothing wrong, or heck, "Just get over it! Be happy!" How is any woman supposed to acknowledge her feelings more or less seek help with all that flying around? Even if she does, our society in general holds this ridiculous idea that anyone with mental health issues should just pop a pill and be all better, or that after one or two therapy sessions everything should be fixed, when in reality there is no cure for mental illness. There are tools that can be implemented to build support and teach coping skills, but they are not a magic eraser.
