My son is 4 and has had asthmas since birth.

Touch wood up until now he has been doing fine since he had a spell in hospital when he was almost 2.

Well last night he woke crying trying to catch his breath. He sounded awful when he was trying to breathe, kinda like a goose. I gave him his inhaler and it all settled down. He managed to get back off to sleep so it was only a mild attack.

My husband wanted me to keep him off school today and get him checked. So I have cancelled his day at school. He seems fine now but am I'm right in still getting him checked over? I just don't want to be an over anxious mum but I guess you can't be where your child's health is concerned.
