I wasn't nursing in public for a long time because I didn't feel comfortable. You know how people are... and we had latch problems so I couldn't do so discreetly. Finally I decided to give it a go at my daughter's gymnastics, after the lady at the front desk told me "it's normal and we see it here all the time". Bless her heart! (I know one of the coaches there breastfeeds too and they let her take pumping breaks or keep her baby at work with her and nurse on demand--so cool). Anyway, so finally I get the guts to do it, but my daughter doesn't get latched on fast enough and she's worked up and it sets off her heart/apnea monitor, so of course I'm trying to get her to latch on (so she can calm down) while this super loud alarm is sounding. AH!!! Of course everyone looked and it sucked But I survived it
