As a mom who takes longer to bake my babies, I really appreciate this. What do you think?
ACOG reinforces standard for "term."
Early Term, between 37 weeks and 38 weeks 6 days.
Full Term, between 39 weeks and 40 weeks 6 days.
Late Term, the 41st week.
Post Term, after 42 weeks
Term pregnancy now defined as at least 39 weeks - TODAY.com
I also want to add that all of my medical books already have this information in them, and it has been there for many years. Clinical research and advocacy simply reinforced what the authors of our textbooks already knew, and governing authorities are finally making it a standard.
