If you want my opinion... I prefer newer doctors. The newer doctors I work with are easier to work with because they aren't so set in their ways. They are more open to suggestions and a lot of them are more educated in newer procedures and education. The OBs that have been there 20+ years we call them "old school" cause that's what they are. Totally make "old school" decisions. Haha. My first OBGYN she barely got done with her residency and started practicing when I saw her for my daughter. AMAZING doctor. She was smart, educated, listened etc. She switched groups or I would see her for this one. My new OB has been practicing for 5 years so still somewhat newer and he's already chief of OB at our hospital... So don't think just cause they're younger and have less experience years they aren't as good of a doctor. Just my 2 cents.
