My sister-in-law babysit my girls for me 3 days a week (and we pay her). I have to be at work at 8:00 a.m. and was "talked" to at work about making sure I get to work on time, etc. What happens when I drop the girls off at 7:30 a.m??? My sister-in-law is asleep. This has happened two out of three times this week. It has happened probably 10 times since she has been watching the girls, which has been a little over a year. On Wednesday of this week, her girls were already up so I had to yell at them through the door to go wake their mom up. She finally came downstairs, no sorry, no nothing. So today I get there and bang and ring the door bell and nothing. So I go home and call my grandma and she said to drop them off there. So I get to work about 8:01 b/c of all this. It's my husband's sister so he calls her and tells her this has got to stop b/c its making me late, etc. She tells him that I should have called her from my cell phone to get her up and tells him we need to find an new sitter and hangs up on him. So my question is, how did this turn into my fault. I have to wake up a 6 mth. old and 4 year old and a husband in the morning, is it really my job to also make sure my babysitter is up and ready ?!?!?! Are we being unreasonable???[/b]
Not your fault at all!! Besides, if her kids are up.. DUH! SHE should be up, lol
