Yea...right! My son was newly four when he not only witnessed but assisted at my birth with Remy. He was GREAT! He never looked afraid and he would come and sit by the side of the tub and put a little hand on my arm and say, "breathe mommy...you just have to get the baby out!" And then he leaned down when I was on my hands and knees and the baby was crowning and said, "OHHHH, it's a baby!"
He also cut the cord and helped Mattmos clean up after the birth. So...from our experience with this child. We are just in love with having our children share in the birth as much as they feel comfortable.
