Well, I had planned on a homebirth when I'm able to get pg again, but now I'm not so sure. I've been having a hard time getting pregnant and just found out that I have a uterine septum. I'm going to have surgery next week (if all goes as planned) to have the septum removed which should make it easier for me to get pg and sustain a pregnancy. My only fear is that I won't be able to have a home birth after this. My midwife told me that it can make the uterus more week if it's removed, but in most cases it doesn't cause a problem. In a small percentage of women, it can lead to a ruptured uterus during labor and if it's too thin, they may recommend that I have c-sections for any future pregnancies.

Do any of you know anything about this? Anyone who had a septum removed/repaired and then went on to have a home birth??
