I have to agree with Patty on the pain. I had stitches in both places at the same time, and the pain from the c-sect definitely was much more intense than the anything going on down there and took months for the aching to go away. Actually for me it never has. My c-sect scar still aches occasionally and pushing on it hurts. I also had no feeling in the skin in my lower stomach for a long time, probably close to a year. And I have an excessive amount of scar tissue from it, which the nurse says is why it hurts to push on it. I'm just afraid this one will end in c-section anyway and I'd rather have it planned. But if longterm pain and recovery is the concern, c-section is probably worse in that regard.
