What is with our house. Wild animals seem to like it. We have had squirrels, a raccoon, and a couple black birds in the house over this past year. We patched everything up in the crawl space that looked damaged. Didn't see any holes in the roof that would point to animals able to get in. Our almost 18yr old son was up on the roof in fall after the raccoon was in the house. He said well where he patched for the squirrels. Something chewed threw again. So he patched from the outside with the same heavy duty screening with a double layer. I see no broken basement windows. I do see squirrels come up on our porch. Well they come up on other porches I seen before also. I talked to the pest control people that come to work. They said you can't kill the wild animals. Unless they were a mouse or a rat. I want our son to go to the hardware store tonight and get something as maybe a repellant till I can figure out what to do. We have a squirrel trap and a raccoon trap. Something I can put outside and keep the wild animals away. I don't know what else to do now. We just had a squirrel in the living room a while ago. Our son got it out of the house.
