If its viral then there is nothing to give apart from Calpol
Is he old enough to have baby nurofen? its safe to give him that as well as the calpol.that should bring his temp down
Keep an eye out that he doesnt get dehydarated - is he still getting wet nappies?
I would say if he is not much better in a couple of days take him back to the dr and get him checked, they can go downhill so fast.
