David Dwight ---Named after his father (oh, the shame!). I would change it if I could. He is the III, and his grandfather (whom he never met--he killed himself just a few months before he was born--), wasn't really someone who I would want to name after my kids anyway....oh well. Live and learn. His name means "Beloved White One"

Devin Daman (da MAAN--not man, maan) ---I was originally planning on naming Devin, Nathaniel James, but he so did NOT look like a Nathaniel to me AT ALL. I was really stuck, LOL. My ex suggested Devin, and I looked up the meaning. I LOVED it! And then I was stuck on what went with the first name. I REALLY REALLY wanted to name his middle name Uche, it is Nigerian for thoughtful poet, but I was young and stupid and everyone said YUCK NO!, so a nurse suggested Daman. I looked up that meaning and I like it also. So Devin Daman it was/is. It means "Loyal Poet".

Olivia I had picked out between Ayanna Eve (meaning Innocent Life) and Olivia Rose (symbolizing Peace and the flower).
My freaking SIL stole my middle name though (Rose--this was also my great-grandmother's name...but WHATever ) so...when I saw Olivia, I instantly thought "Olivia", even though I liked the name Ayanna better...she it totally an Oliva. Her middle name is DeShae (I let her father pick a middle name, since I wasn't going to use Rose anymore). Her name symbolizes Peace (not sure what DeShae means--though I HAVE read somewhere that it means Vegetation--).

Jude's name is perfect. Jude Jerome means "Praised One of Holy Name". I it also.
