jeffrey was driving to his aunt n uncles house tonight around 8 30 when it just got dark. he was driving down military which is 40mph and no street lites. some guy stopped on the other side of the road and began flashing his lites at jeff. he didnt understand why until the last second he saw a huge black dog just sitting there in the middle of the street. he didnt see it in time and hit him right in the ribs and killed it.
i feel so bad for him coz he felt guilty just for hitting a posum or killing a bug. he didnt seem to be to bothered by killing the dog but kept saying "its not my fault" poor thing. it must be running through his mind a lot.
they got the owner down there and prevented anyone else from running it over but the owner assumed he was speeding and then said "i thought my dog stopped running out and going down by the street" so the guy knew his dog knew how o gt out and never tried preventing it? but its truly not his fault, it pitch black on the road 40mph and a BLACK dog. who would see that!?
i think the guy that was flashing his lites felt bad for not finding a better way to prevent it from happening.
poor poopy :-( i cant imagine how he feels.
