I was on bedrest from week 28 until delivery, which was by emergency C-section at 36 weeks. I was 19 when I gave birth, and have had kidney problems my whole life, they were causing issues for me. I suggest the things already suggested, I watched WAY too much TV, read ALL the baby books I found (I think I was better informed than some midwives
), searched the web ALOT, and caught up on all the sleep I'm NOT getting now- and that is my suggestion to you. Of course you can't sleep the whole ten weeks away, but if this is your first child, be prepared for the lack of sleep, it's unlike anything I've ever felt. If it isn't your first child, you know what to expect, so I say sleep as much as you can. I was on the phone alot with friends too, caught up with some people I hadn't spoken to in a while. Bed rest is not easy, hang in there!
